Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations are handled on Desiring Study for Students, Teachers and Coachings. Where refunds apply, they are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.
1. Students
Desiring Study does not directly charge students for enrolling with teachers or coachings listed on the platform. Students must follow the cancellation and refund policies of the individual teacher or coaching/institute they are booking or studying with. Please review the provider's policy before booking. If you need assistance locating a provider's cancellation terms, contact support at info@desiringstudy.com.
2. Teachers & Coachings — Mid-term Cancellation
Teachers and Coachings may request cancellation of their active subscription or listing by emailing info@desiringstudy.com from the email address registered with their Desiring Study account. Upon verification we will cancel the plan or listing effective immediately or as agreed, but:
- No refund is provided for mid-term cancellations. Cancellation only stops future renewals or immediate continued service; any previously paid period remains non-refundable unless a separate refund entitlement exists under our Return & Refund Policy.
- Refunds are available only as specified in our Return & Refund Policy. As a reminder: a specific refund condition exists for Teachers (see refund policy) but no refund is available for Coachings.
3. How to Request Cancellation
- Email info@desiringstudy.com from the registered account email with the subject "Cancellation Request".
- Include relevant details such as account name, plan name, order ID/transaction ID (if available) and the reason for cancellation.
- We will verify the request, confirm cancellation, and notify you about any next steps. Cancellation confirmation typically arrives within 2–5 business days after verification.
4. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Return & Refund Policy:
- Refunds may be available to Teachers in limited circumstances (for example, as described on the refund page).
- Coachings are not eligible for refunds for listing/marketing fees. Desiring Study's marketing and promotion efforts for coachings are non-refundable.
- Students must follow the refund policy of the teacher or coaching they enrolled with; Desiring Study does not directly process student refunds unless otherwise specified.
5. Account Deletion & Data
To request account deletion or cancellation of your Desiring Study account, sign in and follow the account settings flow or email info@desiringstudy.com. We will verify the request and typically process account deletion within 7 business days. Account deletion does not automatically imply any refund entitlement.
6. Exceptions & Right to Refuse
Desiring Study reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests or refunds if we determine the request does not meet policy conditions, or where there is evidence of misuse or fraud.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of Desiring Study after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
